<p><strong>Actions</strong>: Anti-inflammatory, anti-pyretic, anti-cancer, irritant.</p>
<p><strong>Uses</strong>: Medicinal uses: The use of this plant <strong>should be avoided </strong>and/or only used by an experienced healer or professional practitioner as it can cause irritations and be harmful (see cautions)<strong>. </strong>It has been used for diarrhea, eye problems, toothaches, asthma, epilepsy, wounds etc.</p>
<p><strong>Cautions</strong>: It contains a toxic alkaloid that can paralyze the voluntary muscles and influence the heart and respiration.</p>

Medicinal uses: In Indonesia Kumis kucing is used for any kidney and urinary tract condition, eg <strong>kidney stones</strong>, kidney and <strong>urinary tract infections</strong>. Also for <strong>diabetes</strong>, <strong>gout</strong> and<strong> rheumatism</strong>.<br />

Dosage</strong>: 1 spoon of dry or fresh herb to 1 cup of water, 2-(8 in Bali) times a day. 1 -3 ml tincture 2 times a day in water.</p>
